For years, Sloppy Joe’s Bar in Key West, Florida has been hosting an Ernest Hemingway lookalike contest. While I’ve never been, I’ve gotta think this thing is getting a little boring by now. So - I’ve got a few suggestions for heating things up a little.

-Fistfight Component - Hemingway was a scrapper, and any suitable Hemingway-for-a-day should be able to hold his own in a fight.

-Beard Foraging - You can’t have that kind of facial foliage without picking up some interesting bits and pieces. Bonus if they use little monkeys for collection

-Include Women - Yes, women can be manly and hairy, too - It just takes a little more effort, and that effort should be commended.
